Since 1969, Fortner Engineering has built a strong reputation as an FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in the hydraulic component maintenance requirements of airline operators, 3rd party repair stations, OEMs and brokers worldwide.  Three generations of the Fortner family contributed to the growth of Fortner Engineering into the innovative and industry-leading aviation services company that it is today.   Seeking a partner to facilitate further growth and capabilities development, Fortner joined the Wencor Group in 2017 to continue its pursuit of exceeding client expectations, meeting delivery commitments and reducing repair costs.

Fortner Engineering’s 25,000 square foot facility in Glendale, CA, houses well-established DER repair and PMA parts development for highly complex Slide and Sleeve Assemblies along with a 5,000 PSI testing capability, supporting platforms on the B787 and A350.
